Graphic Design & Event Stationery
1. On acceptance of your quote, a 50% non-refundable payment of the total order is required. Once the payment is made then the work will commence and we can start designing.
2. Quotations are valid for 30 days.
3. Content must be supplied in a word document format, no tables or excel sheets will be accepted. We will need your full wording to complete the design.
4. Upon receipt of your order, deposit & wording, electronic designs will be emailed to you within 7 working days.
5. You will then receive your first design (Draft 1). We allow three (3) draft designs per client which will be electronically sent. After three revisions, additional changes can be made to your design but at an additional charge of R200.00 per draft will be charged. Please allow 48 hours for changes to get sent back to you.
6. For event stationery One (1) mock-up / printed proof will be provided before the final printing of invitations. Should further printed proofs be required, an additional cost will be charged. Please allow 3 working days for a printed proof to be ready. If you would like a foiled proof we will need to quote accordingly.
7. Please note that colour on your screen (computer, cellphone or iPad) will not be the exact print colour. This is why it is important to sign off a printed proof. We will not be held liable for any colour difference if a proof has not been signed off.
8. A minimum of 10 working days is required for print and production after the design has been approved. Please note that perspex cutting and engraving as well as detailed laser cutting may take longer depending on the quantity required.
9. It is your responsibility to sign off the artwork before print commences.
10. If you have signed the proof off, (Confirmed over email) Pistachio designs may commence with printing. Proof reading is the responsibility of the client and not that of Pistachio Designs.
11. Pistachio Designs cannot be held responsible for any errors or omissions after a design has been signed off.
12. All products will remain the property of Pistachio Designs until full and final payment has been received. No orders will leave our premisses or will be sent electronically until full and final payment has been made.
13. All designs and artwork remains the copyright of Pistachio Designs and may not be reproduced or copied in any way. “Designed by www.pistachiodesigns.co.za” will thus discreetly appear on all invitations and stationery items. Pistachio designs may post images of your brand, invitations and stationery on social media and use the designs for advertising unless advised otherwise in advance.
14. Pistachio Designs cannot be held responsible for late delivery due to reasons outside our control. You will be notified immediately if your order will take longer than anticipated.
15. Delivery of order to the client is not the responsibility of Pistachio Designs. We can courier your order to you at an additional cost however once the order has left our offices it is out of our control and any damages that occur in transport is not the responsibility of Pistachio Designs. Allow 1-3 working days for courier from PTA /JHB.

Cancellation
1. Cancellation of an order will result in forfeiting any deposit paid.
2. Should the cancellation of an order be received once an order has been completed, the full invoiced amount must be paid to Pistachio Designs.
By paying for your deposit you indicate your agreement to the terms and conditions set forth above.

Social Media
1. Social media services are to be paid in full in advance. All payments need to be made before the 1st of the month so that content can get uploaded by the 1st of the month.
2. Social media management packages are a minimum of three months and will continue running from month to month. One month notice is required for cancellation.
3. It is the clients responsibility to communicate any changes regarding the day to day operation of business, products, promotions, price changes, inventory, operating hours, issues or delays. Pistachio Designs will not be held responsible or liable for incorrect information and content posted. 12. Social media services are to be paid in full in advance 2. Quotations are valid for 30 days.
4. Any content must be supplied in an email or word document format to avoid any errors.
5. Electronic designs will be emailed for approval. It is the clients responsibility to sign off the artwork before uploading commences. Pistachio Designs will not be help liable for delay in uploading due to late sign off.

Cancellation
1. One month notice is required for cancellation of social media management.
2. Should the cancellation of any social media be received once adverts or design have been completed, the full invoiced amount must be paid to Pistachio Designs.

Photography
1. 50% deposit is required to secure your booking. This is non-refundable or transferable in the event of cancellation, it being the agreed loss suffered by the photographer due to cancellation. The booking fee will be deducted from the total cost of the client’s chosen package when calculating the final balance due.
2. The remaining balance payment is due the day before the scheduled date.
3. Cancellation of photography will result in forfeiting your deposit. Photoshoots which are postponed to a later date will retain the fee as long as the photographer can reschedule for the new date and time. If Pistachio Designs is booked on the new scheduled day then the deposit is non-refundable.
4 No downgrade of packages is accepted once booking has been made. A package may be upgraded if needed.
7. Pistachio Designs may use any photographs taken to promote the business. Such as advertising, brochures, magazines, websites, social media, albums etc.
8. Allow 10 working days for the completion of Product/content photography. Pistachio Designs cannot be held responsible for late delivery due to reasons outside their control. You will be notified immediately if your photographs will take longer.
9. Any design work will commence after all images are edited, sent to the client and approved. Please allow 7 working days for designs.
10. Photographs taken by Pistachio Designs are the property of Pistachio Designs.
11. All images will be adjusted for exposure, brightness, contrast, sharpness, etc the Photographer’s judgement regarding these corrections and the number of images put forward to the Client for preview shall be deemed correct. Additional retouching required after the images have been supplied to the client will be at an additional charge.
12. In the unlikely event of the assigned Photographer being unable to attend your event/photoshoot due to unforeseen circumstances, we reserve the right to appoint another photographer to attend to the photoshoot on our behalf to undertake the photography to his/her best ability.
13. Any directions issued to clients, their guests or employees during a photographic shoot are deemed to be at said person’s own risk. Pistachio Designs cannot be held responsible for any personal accidents during a photographic shoot.
14. All photographs and artwork remains the copyright of Pistachio Designs and may not be reproduced or copied in any way.

Websites

4. If content photography is needed for your website allow 10 working days for photoshoot and photo editing.
5. 5. Upon receipt of your order, deposit, wording and imagery, design work will commence. Allow four weeks for website development. For e-commerce websites you will be given a time line based on the amount of products needed on the website.
6. You will then receive your first design (Draft 1). We allow 5 (5) revisions. After five revisions, additional changes can be made to your website but at an additional charge which will be quoted accordingly. Please allow 48 hours for changes to get sent back to you.
7. Please note that colour from screen to screen (computer, cellphone or iPad) will not be exactly the same. Pistachio Designs will not be held liable for any colour difference from screen to screen.
